My Mum used to tell us never to put two brooms together in the house because that will bring trouble and bad luck to the household. It's an old superstition but the poor innocent brooms in Grandpa's house often took the blame when something went wrong! And it's also bad luck if your feet get swept over by a broom! So if you're superstitious, keep those brooms out of sight! Oh, I almost forgot, if someone accidentally sweeps over your feet with a broom, just ask the offender to say "Pai" and that will get rid of all the bad luck!
