A Beautiful Heart

"Looks are not important," mused my 87 year old aunt.  "Look at me, my eyes are too small, my nose is too big, yet I won the heart of the most eligible bachelor of my days."

"Tell me more," I said.

"There were dozens of pretty girls available but he chose me.  Why do you think he fell for me?" she asked, looking at me quizzically.

"Because you could cook?" I jested.

"Of course not, you silly girl," retorted my aunt, glaring at me.  "He (her late husband) loved me because I had a warm and caring heart.  I was never vain, pretentious or arrogant. I was simply me."

So there you have it.  If you want to win that special someone's heart, first make sure yours is beautiful!
