White on Black

I discovered a new tuft of white hair near my side parting yesterday.  My first reaction was to pull it all out because I can't stand the sight of white hair on my head.  So far I've been very lucky in that I've never had to colour my hair to hide the white culprits. There's still a layer of dark black hair on top but it looks like it may soon be overrun by the whites.  Mum used to say that the more I pull out my white hair, the more it will grow.  Maybe there's some truth in her words.
