Perhaps I spoke too soon. The haze returned today and buildings and hills are almost invisible. I went about just now with a tissue pressed to my nose. It has started to rain a little and hopefully it will continue to do so, but then the moment the rain stops, the haze returns. Thank you, rain, anyway. I think I shall stay indoors for the next two or three days. Incidentally, I had a lucky streak the other day and won an air purifier - it has certainly come in useful!
