I like persimmons and when I was at the supermarket recently, I saw they were being offered for a song, less than one ringgit each. I bought five and happily brought them back home. When I was going through my shopping bill, I was puzzled to find that the persimmons were not listed there. After checking again, I found that they were indeed not in the bill even though I was sure I had placed them on the counter for billing. So now I have five persimmons sitting in my fridge with the compliments of the supermarket ...a belated Christmas gift from the management??? Thanks so much, dears!
