I was watching Honey (my cat) wash his face the other day before going to bed. It was such a painstaking process. First he licked one of his paws, then rubbed it over his face. He did this several times until he was satisfied that his face was clean, then he proceeded to clean up the rest of his body. I couldn't help thinking that we humans are very fortunate. Not only do we have a whole array of facial cleansing creams and lotions to pamper ourselves with but also soft fluffy towels in beautiful colours and designs to wash our face with. This poor little creature has only his own sweet saliva to clean with! And never a complaint from him. My heart just went out to him that night. Love you, Honey!
