After months of rice and dishes, I suddenly developed a thirst for hawker food and today, I ventured out to a nearby vegetarian outlet and ordered "Hokkien Mee". It was delicious, albeit minus the prawns and chicken meat! It came topped with a little veg, bean sprouts, some pieces of mock "char siew" and crispy soya bits. I had a great lunch - I shall have to visit that outlet again!
