Yesterday morning we had a sudden torrent of rain just as I was about to leave for my appointment with my hairdresser. I had no choice but to wait until it became a drizzle before I left home. It took only half an hour for my hair to be done and just as I was leaving, I was amused by what my hairdresser said: "Look, the rain has stopped and you can now go home safely. The rain gods truly love you!" Do they, I wonder....
