Let There be Peace

I was so downhearted to see from the news that there was no let up on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and the bombing and killing went on in the Gaza, claiming thousands of lives.  It is very sad that the aggressors are so consumed by anger and hatred that their hearts are dry of even an ounce of mercy and compassion.  While we were all so fortunate to have been able to celebrate Christmas, the celebrations in Bethlehem were cancelled.  No Christmas trees, no merry making, only sorrow and silence. We can only pray for divine intervention in bringing about peace here and among all nations in the world.
