Nerves of Steel

Flying always makes me nervous.  Once, when we ran into turbulent weather and the plane was rocking from side to side, I was surprised to see Mum calmly reading a book while I was nervously chanting a prayer.  She never failed to amaze me, even in the most trying circumstances.
