Mum's favourite colour was purple. So most of her dress materials were in delightful shades of purple, violet and indigo and she had matching earrings to go with them. She also loved "purple" ice cream - made from yam! They say that purple is the colour of people seeking spiritual fulfilment and that it invokes peace of mind if you surround yourself with it. Mum was someone on the spiritual path and that explains why she was so comfortable wearing purple!
