Looking back, Chinese New Year was always a thrilling experience when we were kids. We got to wear new clothes, new shoes, new ribbons and new pajamas. We didn't think new pajamas were of great importance because nobody could see us wearing them but Mum would insist that we "complete" the picture. We did nothing all day except dig into the cookie jars and eat non-stop. Now that we're all adults, things have changed of course and each coming new year brings a long list of "Things to Do". But I'm glad to say I managed to finish all my "work" on time and can say "Happy New Year" to all my friends and relatives out there! Yeah, may the Year of the Rooster bring good fortune, good health and good luck to you all!
