It was a most difficult decision to make. I had been invited to an old friend's daughter's wedding and in the face of the present virus epidemic, I was hesitant to go because it would mean sitting in an aircon room with at least one hundred other people. I couldn't very well wear a mask to the dinner as everyone would think I'm crazy, so after much persuasion and assurance from other friends that everyone would be safe, I finally went armed with my hand sanitizer (and a mask in my handbag in case I needed it). The dinner started late and I sat sandwiched between two other ladies who fortunately didn't sneeze or cough throughout the dinner. It was indeed a great relief when it ended after something like eight courses. I hope there will be no more wedding dinners in the next few months, it would be really too stressful for people like me.

I look upon this lovely mural as a mural of hope for the next generation. May they grow to love nature and all living beings.
