Somebody sent me a video the other day. It was about a young boy being bullied by some toughies and it was very frustrating to see that no one went to his aid, least of all the person who was coolly taking a video of the incident. The victim called out for help but sorry, man, I'm taking a video. Sadly this is what is happening today, it is more important to have a video on social media so that others can see the "action", rather than going to the rescue of the person in distress. Our present society has fallen prey to ego and self-aggrandizement and in the process has forgotten compassion and humaneness. Let us hope it is not too late to make amends and let humanity come first if we want this world to be a better place to live in.
