Congratulations to the water team, they managed to restore our water in half the estimated time of four days! Although a few hiccups occurred after the restoration, it wasn't a big deal as most areas had their water already flowing. To many of us, it was a good opportunity to take that holiday we never had time to take, so my friends and I were part of the exodus from our island! We escaped to the highlands and spent three lovely days of cool weather, good food and unlimited shopping!! So it was a happy ending for all but I do hope this incident will make us realise how lucky we are to have clean sparkling water at our disposal and that we should not waste it unnecessarily.
