Haste Makes Waste

I had a disastrous morning today.  I had made an appointment with my doctor at 9.30 a.m., so around 9.00 a.m. I called Grab and headed to the hospital.  Just as I was about to get down from the car, I realised to my dismay that I had forgotten to bring my lab report which I was going to show the doctor!  How that could have happened is beyond me as I had put everything ready in a bag the night before.  What could I do but to call another Grab and rush home to get my report.  The driver was very kind and understood my predicament and agreed to take me back with my report from my house to the hospital. Meantime, while on the way back to the hospital,  I received a call from the doctor's nurse asking whether I was coming!  It was exactly 9.30 a.m. when I arrived back at the hospital, rushed into the lift and made it for my appointment!  My advice to everyone is to check and double check that you have everything you need before you leave your house. Haste makes waste - and I shall never forgive myself for being so careless!
