I read recently the story of a young man in China who had got to know a beautiful, young lady through one of those popular social networking websites. They agreed to meet and the young man travelled a considerable distance from his hometown to meet the girl. He couldn't wait to see her but when he at last came face to face with her, he found to his horror that he was looking at a plain, ugly girl who hardly resembled the beautiful creature he saw online. In his disappointment and fury, he beat her up for deceiving him and went home. Moral of the story: Honesty is the best policy. Editing your photo to make yourself look nicer may boost your self esteem but it doesn't pay in the end!
