Star Studded Affair

I attended the wedding dinner of a cousin's daughter at a posh hotel recently and you could say it was a "star studded" affair.  The ladies came bedecked with jewelry and shimmering gowns and the whole evening was like the premiere of a blockbuster movie! It occurred to me that it is during weddings and sadly, funerals, that we get to meet our long lost relatives. Everyone is busy with his own commitments and there is simply "no time" to get together.  Well, I hope there will be more happy occasions in the near future, they are not only great reunions but also give us a chance to dress up and be like movie stars for a night!
