I recently attended the birthday dinner of yet another super woman. She is 88 and moves around more like she's 60 or 70. Her grandchildren call her their "Evergreen Grandma" and though they live overseas, they never fail to come home and attend her birthday dinner every year. She looked splendid that night in an orange kebaya and dark sarung. Her snowy white hair was beautifully styled and she was a picture of elegance. Her youthful appearance sparked off a debate among us on how she manages to keep so fit. Come to think of it, we have never heard of her being sick or having aches and pains, while we, the so called "younger" generation, are beginning to wobble about! We don't know her secret of longevity but we do know she loves to cook and has openly confessed that if she doesn't cook, she will fall sick! So maybe cooking is the secret, so those of you who want to live a long healthy life, take out your pots and pans and get busy!
