Lunch this time was at the invitation of my aunt who was keen on banana leaf rice at a nearby Indian restaurant. The rice came with mixed veg curry, cooked melon and radish chopped into cubes and of course, papadam. We also ordered a side dish of Tandoori chicken which came with onion rings and mint sauce. The chicken was tender and not dry and hard, it made me want to come back for more! Though I'm not a fan of Indian food, I found this lunch quite enjoyable; maybe it was the banana leaf that gave it extra flavour!
