I ran into an old friend this morning and during our chat, I was amazed to learn that her mother, who was my mum's classmate, is now 101 years old! She apparently is in good health, still mentally alert and able to move around on her own without help. I'm told she can even go up and down the stairs of her house a few times every day! Truly amazing. Quite frankly, I can't imagine myself being 80 years old, let alone 101 and I dread to think what a sorry bundle of rickety old bones I'd be by then! This lady is truly blessed and I wish her all the best for her remaining years!
