I was at the market this morning and decided to try the chicken pie sold at a coffee shop, after having heard so much about it. Going by the name "Heritage Pies and Pastries", they have, apart from chicken pies, an assortment of apple pies, vege pies, nasi lemak, cakes and some Nonya dishes. For chicken pie, I was told that there is a choice of three fillings - original (Oriental), Kari Kapitan and Bolognese/Thai. Being not very adventurous, I chose the original! I shall have to try the other pastries on my next trip to the market!
