My walks in the gardens and parks have become very interesting studies of humanity, if I may call them that. One meets many people while walking and gets to learn many things. Some examples of the people I meet:
1) The avid walker who is full of energy and who can't wait to overtake you;
2) The "swinger" who swings his arms in big circles as he walks, you have to steer clear of him if you don't want a black eye;
3) The slow, careful walker who takes his time to enjoy the surroundings as he walks;
4) The thoughtful walker who walks with his head down and eyes on the ground, head buzzing;
5) The friendly, cheerful walker who smiles or nods at everyone he passes;
6) The "Good Morning" walker who wishes everyone as he trundles along;
7) The wary walker who carries a stick ready to defend himself in case he is harassed by monkeys;
8) The "chat group" walkers who are like a mobile Whatsapp group;
9) The busy walker who talks on his mobile phone while he walks, business or girl friend?
And last but not least,
10) The ones who carry an umbrella while walking to shield themselves from the sun!
But all have the same goal - to get a healthy body and to enjoy nature.
