Rain, Rain, Go Away

 

We are having a wet spell now and as I sip my Milo and listen to the pitter patter of the rain, a song that we as kids used to sing comes to my mind.  I can only remember the first verse and it goes like this:

Rain, rain go away,

Come again some other day,

We want to go outside and play,

Come again some other day.

As adults, we don't go out to "play" so much now but we are thankful to the rain for filling up our reservoirs, for watering our crops, for watering our gardens and among many more other things, for washing our cars! 😉
