The rains have made a return, though not in full force. Most of the time, it is still very hot most part of the day and it only starts raining in the late afternoons. They (the rains) are playing hide and seek with us, but we should not complain but instead be thankful for what we have received so far. This brings to mind a story I read some time ago. There was this village which suffered a drought for months and all the crops had gone dry. The villagers decided to gather one day and pray collectively for rain. Quite a large crowd turned up in front of the village church including a little boy, and he was the only one who carried an umbrella. The faith of a boy who believed God would hear their prayers and send them rain.
