My 87 year old aunt used to drive a small Mini when she was younger. Nobody knew whether she had a driving licence or not but she drove everywhere and even took Mum out. I remember Mum telling me how hair-raising it was sitting in her car. She overtook every vehicle in front of her and once, she even overtook a police escort! Aunty gave up driving at the age of 80 at the insistence of her daughter, much to Mum's relief.
