I was all prepared for long queues and a long wait. I had decided to go later to avoid the crowds and left my house at about 10, armed with a flask of Milo and an umbrella but a surprise awaited me at the polling station. There was only a handful of people and after checking my details, I was directed immediately to the polling room to cast my vote. It was over in less than five minutes, much to my relief and since it was still early, I went for a walk in the park. It was like killing two birds with one stone - doing my duty + exercise - and I went home very happy indeed!
